The possible study abroad destinations are endless for students of the Department of Economics, Education, and Sociology. From Barcelona to Australia, Ireland to Italy, Latin America, Africa, and Asia, students have opportunities to experience culture and education internationally.
Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of Catholic University’s study abroad opportunities. Those interested should meet with the department’s Director of Undergraduate Studies early in their academic journey to plan how best to integrate a study abroad experience into their degree program. Most students choose to study abroad during their junior year. Senior-year study abroad is not permitted, as students must be on campus to complete the senior seminar and thesis requirements.
